RAW 264.7 gamma NO(-) was derived from the RAW 264.7 (see ATCC TIB-71) mouse monocyte/macrophage cell line Unlike the parental line, RAW 264.7 gamma NO(-) does not produce nitric oxide upon treatment with interferon gamma alone, but requires LPS for full activation (the iNOS promoter linked to a luciferase reporter gene is also unresponsive to IFN- alone). This cell line was deposited by SW Russell and can be used in assay development.

The Ready-to-Assay MRGPRX1 Receptor Frozen Cells are a simple, thaw-and-assay cell format for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This assay assesses ligand (e.g. BAM22) based activation of MRGPRX1 GPCR activity via detection of increasing levels of intracellular calcium. The included cell line overexpresses MRGPRX1 alongside endogenous high levels of a promiscuous G-protein, coupling the receptor to the calcium signaling pathway. Upon activation of MRGPRX1, the resulting calcium activity can be fluorescently assayed.
